Chet serves as Vice President, Operations & Asset Management at Reactivate. Prior to joining Reactivate, Chet worked for Accenture as the Trading & Commercial Industry Principle providing commercial expertise focused on electricity and natural gas markets, renewable energy, power generation optimization and ISO/RTO operations. Chet also worked for Invenergy for several years in a variety of roles, starting out as the Manager of Power Market Operations & Commercial Execution where he was responsible for the management of Invenergy’s Power Trading and Commercial Execution team which was responsible for short-term trading, outrage scheduling and coordination, regulatory changes and optimizing dispatch of Invenergy’s generation fleet in the United States and Canada.
His last role at Invenergy was the Director of Power, Natural Gas and REC Trading where he was responsible for the management of Invenergy’s energy trading team which was responsible for transactions that optimize returns for Invenergy’s fleet of Renewable and Natural Gas assets in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Chet currently holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Morehouse College and an Executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Chet is also an adjunct professor of Energy and Sustainability at Northwestern University teaching a course on Energy Trading and Risk Management.
