Corey Stein serves as the Executive Vice President of Finance at Reactivate. In his role, Corey is responsible for managing debt and tax equity transactions, portfolio valuation, and overseeing financial planning and analysis for the company. Stein serves on Reactivate’s Executive Committee.
Prior to joining Reactivate, Corey was the Chief Financial Officer at Lightstar Renewables. He managed corporate and project finance & valuation until the platform was sold by Elda River Capital Management (Magnetar Capital) to an affiliate of Eagle Creek Renewable Energy.
Before that, Corey served as Vice President of Finance at Nautilus Solar Energy, overseeing project finance transactions. Under Corey’s leadership, Nautilus successfully executed over $500 million of construction/permanent debt and tax equity arrangements.
Earlier in his career, Corey worked at UBS Investment Bank as a Director in the Power, Utilities, and Infrastructure Group. He worked with regulated utilities, independent power producers, and renewable energy companies on mergers & acquisitions and capital raising engagements. He started his career in the UBS Equity Capital Markets Group.
Corey holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Emory University's Goizueta Business School. He lives in New York City with his wife and son.
